How much does a project cost?

Projects typically range from $5,000 for a focused marketing site to $80,000+ for a complex SaaS product. We provide fixed quotes after a discovery call, no hourly billing surprises.

How long does a project take?

• Marketing site / landing page: 2–4 weeks
• Full website: 4–8 weeks
• Full-stack application / SaaS MVP: 8–16 weeks
• Design system: 4–10 weeks

Timelines depend on complexity and how quickly feedback comes in.

Do you work with early-stage startups?

Yes. Some of our best work is with founders who have a strong vision and need a technical partner to realize it. We've worked on everything from pre-seed MVPs to Series B product rebuilds.

Can I hire DevNest for ongoing work?

Yes. We offer monthly retainers for clients who want continued development, design, and support after the initial project wraps. Retainers include a set number of hours per month with priority response times.

Technical

What's your default tech stack?

Next.js 15, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL, Prisma, and Vercel. We adapt based on your requirements. If you have an existing stack, we'll work with it.

Do you handle hosting and infrastructure?

We can set up and manage your hosting infrastructure as part of the project scope. Ongoing infrastructure management is available as a retainer add-on.

Will I own the code?

Yes. All code we write for your project is yours, with full IP transfer on final payment. We don't keep license rights or insert dependencies on our own services.

Do you provide documentation?

Always. Every project ships with a README, inline documentation for complex logic, and a handover document that explains how to maintain and extend the codebase.

Process

What do I need to have ready before we start?

Ideally: a brief that explains your goals and users, any existing brand assets, and a clear decision-maker. We can work without a brief, but having one speeds things up.

How do I give feedback?

We share work through Figma (for design) and preview deployments (for code). You can leave comments directly in Figma, or written feedback via Notion or email. We hold a weekly sync for higher-bandwidth discussion.

What if I'm unhappy with the work?

We build in feedback rounds at every milestone. If something isn't right, we fix it before moving on. We don't release final deliverables until you're satisfied with the result.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, on request. We take client confidentiality seriously by default, NDA or not.
